I have been an entrepreneur for almost 35 years. I have started, run, closed or sold
dozens of different enterprises. Currently, through The Stark Group of
Companies, I buy, sell own, operate, lend on and manage hundreds of units of
real estate. Through our various companies I lend millions of dollars to other
investors. I personally consider every lending decision. I find funding for all kinds
of real estate and business deals. We manage hundreds of rental units. We have
a full service construction company. One of our companies negotiates short sale
agreements with lenders all over the country for investors purchasing property
from borrowers at risk of foreclosure. We negotiate loan modification and
forebearance agreements for borrowers in trouble who wish to retain their
properties. We assist lenders and other motivated sellers in liquidating dozens of
properties every year. We buy properties, both for long therm rental and quick turn
around. I host a weekly radio program in Northeast Ohio, focused on real estate,
but discussing many topics of interest, and interviewing hundreds of fascinating
individuals from around the country.
Over the years I have owned many businesses; a group of flower shops (which I
sold to a grocery store chain) a fancy food gift basket company, a wholesale
produce company (which I sold to a competitor), a beauty products marketing
network with 2000 associates, a service business for attorneys and court reporters,
a hazardous waste remediation company, a building products company, a truck
rental dealership, and more. I am also a nightclub singer! THE LIST GOES ON.
I have also formed or served on boards of numerous non-profit service and charity
organizations. I have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, rounded up public
and private support for various causes, and orchestrated special events of all
kinds, from horse parades to religious song festivals, casino nights to marathons.
I have made money, lost money, had fun, had tough days and thrilling successes.
